According to local law enforcement, a Lexus was heading southbound on Roosevelt Drive. At the same time, a Chevrolet Equinox was traveling northbound on the same roadway. As the vehicles proceeded through the area of Southeast Loop 410, they collided. The force of the collision caused the Lexus to proceed forward and strike a 67-year-old pedestrian who was walking on the sidewalk. The pedestrian was not identified to the public and was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) for emergency medical care. The crash is currently being investigated.
